Hi
Not sure if the problem is with Viscosity, OpenVPN or Duo.
I am using the latest version of Viscocity
I have setup Duo 2MFA in OpenVPN as per this article. See https://duo.com/docs/openvpn-as
I have setup the static prompt as per the Viscosity doco
The problem is that no matter what I put in the textbox I always receive a Duo push notification.
For example I can put random text in the box and would still get a Duo push.
Entering sms or phone does not force a Duo SMS or phone response.
I use Duo for other purposes and phone works so I know that my Duo account has been enabled for this feature.
SMS or phone options appear to be supported by both Viscocity and Duo OpenVPN Access scripts but I am wondering if Push has been hardwired into Viscosity
Thanks

Hi Laurie,
Viscosity will send through to the server exactly what is input into the challenge dialog, it is not modified for any specific process. The issue I'm afraid is most likely going to be in your script or plugin you have attached to OpenVPN-AS which is most likely ignoring the response from the client and replacing it with push.
Regards,
Eric

Hi Eric
Yes you were correct.
I re-installed the Duo openVPN access server script and it worked as expected.
Thanks
