Hi,
The documentation states that scripts (.bat and .vbs) can be run "when your connection connects or disconnects".
Is it possible to have a script run *before* a connection is setup?
It would be very useful, to allow laptops to start connections based on the topology, on where they are (e.g. at home, or at the office).
Same question for Mac.
Thank you,
Chris

Hi Chris,
You can set conditional connections in the Before Connect script that will allow you to abort the connection attempt if certain conditions aren't met in your script - https://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/ar ... nnections/
Beyond this, you will need to detect your conditions using another method outside Viscosity, then you can tell Viscosity to connect or disconnect based on those conditions externally:
https://sparklabs.com/support/kb/articl ... g-windows/
https://sparklabs.com/support/kb/articl ... cript-mac/
Regards,
Eric
