Hello,

I got the issue of dns is not resolving at all in the terminal. Following setup:
Split-DNS with 2 domains. Inside the browser the dns-queries get resolved from the company dns. If I try to query the same internal domain from the command line terminal with nslookup it doesn't resolve. Only if I explicitly set the dns server to look for.

If I change the mode to Full-DNS everything works fine.

On the other hand, while using tunnelblick everything works as expected because every dns-query gets routed through the connection.

Does anyone has a solution for this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi grizzo,

The Unix tools nslookup, dig, and host do not use the macOS resolver system, and so will not function correctly when it comes to Split DNS. Please see:
