hi there, I followed this guide to route some domains to circumvent the VPN and connect on the normal net_gateway, but still it appears it does not work - I can see this because some website block the VPN server so I am still unable to browse these with Firefox. Is there anything else I need to do? Thanks

Hi cellulosa,

Routing a website can be tricky, as it may use resources from other domains and IP addresses. For example, you couldn't simply route "facebook.com" to net_gateway, as Facebook loads resources from dozens of other domains.

To properly route a website you need to identify every domain and IP address it uses, and route them all. For small websites this typically isn't an issue, but for larger websites it will be. This is discussed further at:

Most modern web browsers offer tools to help you see what domains a web page uses. For example, in Safari you can enable Developer Mode, from the Develop menu choose Show Web Inspector, and click on the Network tab. From there you can see a list of resources and the "Domain" used to access them.
