Authentication with only username & password
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
I've been given very limited details by a client on connecting to their VPN, it is simply a url, username and password, but I can't find anywhere to create a connection in Viscosity with those options.
I also couldn't find a guide in the knowledge base. Is there something I'm missing?

If you're sure it's for an OpenVPN server, you can try using the Import from Server feature and see if that works. To do this, from the Viscosity menu select Preferences, then click the small "+" button and select Import Connection -> From Server. Enter the server address and see whether the import process is able to continue.
If not, it's likely the VPN connection is not an OpenVPN connection, and Viscosity cannot be used. Please see:
