I am currently using a machine that has a Single User license set up and installed on it. I recently purchased a volume license for Viscosity to move our company over to OpenVPN. Am I wrong in assuming that I will have to uninstall Viscosity, and re-install Viscosity using the new Volume license in order to create the pre-serialized bundled installer or is there a way of accomplishing that?

Hi horsman,

Yes, that's one way of registering Viscosity under the new license. You also have a couple of other options:

1. You can click on the "Register" button in the license email on that computer. Viscosity should automatically launch and re-register using the new license information.

2. You can quit Viscosity, and then delete just the license data using the following command in the Terminal. When you open Viscosity again it should prompt you for registration details.
Code: Select all
defaults delete com.viscosityvpn.Viscosity License
