Connecting to Viscosity in an Ubuntu VM

Hello,
Sorry to bother you. My VPN isn't working properly when I connect to websites in a VM on my mac.
To be more precise, I can connect to an enterprise github just fine when I'm on the VPN and just using the browser through the host machine, but once I try and do the same on my VM (using UTM with Ubuntu) it doesn't work.
I've tried changing the network mode on the VM, but it hasn't changed anything.
What can I do to resolve the issue?

To use a Viscosity VPN connection on the host from inside a VM guest, you'll need to make sure the VM is configured to use NAT rather than Bridged mode on the network adapter. In UTM you can configure this by editing your VM, going to Network (under Devices), and changing the Network Mode to "Shared Network".
I'm afraid I can't say I've tested this from a Ubuntu Guest in UTM, but I can confirm it's working from a macOS guest in UTM while a VPN connection is established on the host Mac (with all network traffic routed through it).
