Deploying via intune/win32

Hello, we are trying to deploy VIscosity via Intune/win32 packaged APP and during installation it appears to "hang" and never finishes.

The installation command that we are using is:
Viscosity Bundled Setup.exe /SP- /verysilent /NORUN /NOCANCEL /NORESTART

Does anyone have any pointers or things to check?

TIA

Hi sullrich,

For Intune/SCCM, we'd recommend wrapping the installer in an MSI, we have some instructions here - https://sparklabs.com/support/kb/articl ... -installer

What operating system are you deploying too in this case?

Regards,
Eric

We packaged everything up as a MSI but unfortunately it is hanging as well. I do see the Viscosity folder being created but no files are present in that directory. Do you have any other hints/pointers of what to check?

PS: I notice that if we run the installer locally it prompts to download visual c++ 2019 64-bit redistributable - could this be hanging the installer thats running unattended?

Hi Sullrich,

This is quite possible, it's quite uncommon for this not to be already present these days though. Viscosity's requirements are listed here - https://sparklabs.com/support/kb/articl ... quirements
