My internet connection immediately drops when Viscosity attempts to connect. Seconds later it comes back online. Can you provide a diagnostic path for me to follow to solve this issue?

Hi ranlan,

Could you clarify if your connection drops as soon as you click connect, or when Viscosity completes it's connection? Please first check if you have any scripts attached to this connection by editing your connection and going to Advanced.

If not, I would advise trying to line up an event during the connection with your internet dropping out. We have some basic troubleshooting advice here but I highly recommend looking at the log for further information - https://sparklabs.com/support/kb/articl ... -problems/

The connection drops immediately after Viscosity completed its connection attempt. Reviewing Edit/Advanced on the server shows no additional scripts that are running. Spectrum advises that there are numerous what they call "T-4" signal drops on my 200 MBPS connection. That may have something to do with this?

Hi ranlan,

Please refer to the troubleshooting guide in my previous post in this case. It's also possible that something is wrong with the server you're connecting to and it's not allowing any traffic to flow. We would recommend contacting your VPN Provider for assistance - https://sparklabs.com/support/kb/articl ... ovider-is/
