I just switched VPN providers and it was a royal pain in the neck having to add 20 servers separately, connecting with each server, entering user name and password, clicking on remember in my keychain and saving. Then repeating for every single one. Why can't the client remember shared credentials? Enter once and use them for all connections. I doubt many people use multiple VPN services, so one set of credentials should work. Or let us save credentials to select from a dropdown. Default to "save to keychain," because I can't imagine why anyone would want to keep re-entering credentials every single time they connect. Also allow us to import all the OVPN connection files from one folder rather than one by one, trying to remember which ones we've already installed and which ones would be duplicates, which Viscosity does not guard against.

Might I suggest that when you test the installation procedure, do so on a fresh system. Then you would know how arduous it is to do from scratch.

Hi cromemco,
Why can't the client remember shared credentials?
Viscosity can already do this. :) Please see:

Also allow us to import all the OVPN connection files from one folder rather than one by one
Viscosity can already do this as well. When performing an import (by opening Viscosity's Preferences window, clicking on the + button, and selecting Import Connection -> From File) simply select a folder and click the Open button. Viscosity will automatically scan the folder (and any sub-folders) for connections and import any it finds.

Cheers,
James
