First setup Viscosity VPN
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
Hi Erik,
You can connect to your home network using Viscosity, however Viscosity is only one half of the puzzle. Viscosity is a VPN client (allows you to connect to VPN servers), however not a server. You'll need to setup your own OpenVPN server on your Mac at home for Viscosity to connect to.
You can find official information on how to setup your own OpenVPN server at the OpenVPN website, or you could use a web-based package (such as pfSense) to setup a server more easily.
Cheers,
James
