hi there,

i imported a bunch of ovpn files and some of them lead to the following error screen, when trying to edit the connection profile (Preferences.../Connections/NAME_OF_PROFILE/Edit):

Image

So i "diffed" them and found some of them containing comments in the syntax of
Code: Select all
ca ***.crt ;comment out if using pkcs12
cert ***.crt ;comment out if using pkcs12
key ***.key ;comment out if using pkcs12
As the openvpn2 daemon can parse it (therefore they are also runnable but not editable in Viscosity), and deleting those comments also vanishes the error in Viscosity I would describe it as a bug :D

greetings

p.s. i didnt tried the beta, as i try to avoid beta software on my production systems

system: osx 10.5.7, intel, viscosity 1.04

Hi steth,

Thanks for the report. Viscosity 1.0.5 been fully released since your post, and as it contains some changes to importing it may have fixed the issue. However I'll chase it up and see if I can replicate the issue to ensure it doesn't crop up in future versions.

Cheers,
James
