Hi cybermaster69, Thanks for posting your log. Judging by your description and messages, no network traffic at all is passing through the VPN connection. This likely means one of three things: a compression setting mismatch between the server and client, a MTU issue, or a router or the server itself...

Hi tis, Can you please post a copy of the following: 1. A complete copy of the OpenVPN log with the log verbosity level raised. You can raise the log verbosity by editing the connection in Viscosity, clicking on the Advanced tab, and then adding the command “verb 5” (without the quotation marks) on ...

Hi HenrikWL, I'm afraid managed system profiles will override local network settings (by design). Hi Steve, The "Cannot allocate TUN/TAP dev dynamically" message is misleading, the important message in the log is: 2021-02-10 13:48:51: Options error: Unrecognized option or missing or extra parameter(s) in [PUSH-OPTIONS]:4: block-outside-dns (2.4.10) It appears the OpenVPN server is push...

Hi Mathewst, [Edit] We have identified a situation where Viscosity could inadvertently trigger a bug in the macOS update process when updating macOS 11 from version 11.0 or 11.1 to version 11.2.x. We've just released version 1.9.2 to address this. More information can be found on our blog: https://w...

Hi la442, I'm afraid we typically don't make old releases available: as Viscosity is a security product we don't want to encourage installing versions that may be missing important security fixes. We do however have a legacy downloads page that has older releases for legacy OS versions: https://www....

Hi JamesZhang, I need to stress again that you don't have to modify the computer's default route and that we advise against it. OpenVPN will create the routes needed as long as the default gateway is correctly configured. Information for creating custom routes can be found at: https://www.sparklabs....
