Hi richard, Such behaviour isn't unexpected: macOS will perform a mDNS/Bonjour service refresh when a new network connection is available. This will typically cause any unconnected server (i.e. one you're not connected to already using SMB, WebDAV, etc.) to briefly disappear as the refresh takes pla...

Hi Bryan, Glad to hear you were able to find a solution. We would need a copy of the details linked above to be able to make any firm conclusion as to what is going on. As a guess I'd say your connection isn't waiting for the DHCP negotiation to finish, and so the DHCP options aren't being used. Mak...

Hi Brad, Thanks for the technical information - much appreciated. We believe the crash in your report should be fixed in the latest beta version of Viscosity: https://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/article/using-viscosity-beta-versions/ The legacy resolv.conf containing the 127.0.0.1 resolver is likel...

If you're still stuck, please send us the details listed in the following article and we can take a closer look for you. You may prefer t...

Hi Bryan, I'm afraid we're not aware of any issues with Split DNS functionality. Please ensure that you're using the latest build (1.10.6 build 1642) of Viscosity, as earlier builds (1640 and 1641) had some known DNS related issues. If you're still stuck, please send us the details listed in the fol...

Hi btofel, This likely indicates that a web proxy server has old update details cached. An updated build of version 1.10.6 was released recently, however if a proxy server caches the old update details the update will be seen as invalid (due to signature mismatch) until the proxy server refreshes it...

Hi bjrice88, Thanks for the report. We're working with another user via email who occasionally encountering the same issue, we should hopefully have a beta version available soon with a fix. In the meantime, as a workaround to avoid restarting your computer, you can quit Viscosity and wait 2 minutes...

Hi minusbat, Please ensure that you're using 1.10.6 build 1642, rather than build 1641. Build 1642 did fix an issue that could cause DNS settings to be ignored if they had mixed case/capitalisation. It's possible this may have affected IPv6/AAAA record resolutions for you. If you're still stuck, ple...
