Hi, OpenVPN 2.6 removes support for the "ncp-disable" command - it has been deprecated for several years. You can follow the instructions in the following link to remove it, which should get your connection working again: https://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/article/migrating-from-openvpn-...

Hi chris, Thank you for posting your connection log. Can you please try with the latest beta version (1.11b8)? If all goes well, you should see a "Error: Server Encryption Cipher Disallowed" alert pop up, with an offer to allow the use of the cipher your OpenVPN server wants to use. If you...

Hi, I'm afraid that is not something that Viscosity has inbuilt support for. However you have a couple of options: 1. You could setup multiple SOCKS proxies (either on each VPN server listening on the internal VPN IP, or on a server/computer that will go through the VPN connection) and then set up e...

Viscosity will display such an error if it can't contact the server's API at all, or if it returns an invalid status code. Your best bet is to check the web logs on the server and see whether the import request is reaching the server at all. If it is, check what status code is being return and wheth...

Hi Rick, A default/0.0.0.0 route remaining in place for other network interfaces isn't unexpected, and doesn't mean it's getting used as the global default route. If you've configured your VPN connection for all network traffic to be routed over it, then you can follow the steps here to check whethe...

Hi Alan, It sounds like you're using Windows 10 on an ARM device. This is a known issue: .NET is not installing correctly on certain Windows 10 on ARM setups. It’s likely related to Windows 10’s preferred x86 emulation. It does not affect Windows 11, and so the best course of action is to update to ...

Hi, There are a few things you should check: 1. Make sure the Protocol selected in the connection editor matches the IP version of your address. For example, if your server's address is myserver.com, which resolves to an IPv6 address, but your connection is configured to use IPv4, then resolution wi...

Hi, By default OpenVPN will re-authenticate/negotiate a VPN connection every 60 minutes. For connections with two-factor this means you'll be prompted again for your two-factor credentials every 60 minutes. There are two ways around this: 1. Enable session tokens on the OpenVPN server. This is the r...

Hi, I'm afraid bridging the VPN network adapter with another network adapter isn't something that is officially supported by Viscosity. It's possible it may work, but you may run into issues if the VPN server/connection isn't configured to handle the traffic from additional machines. Viscosity itsel...
