I decided to add a few ovpn files from my OpenVPN/config/ directory to Viscosity, from vpnbook. These four files use auth-user-pass vpnbook.conf where vpnbook.conf contain the user and pass lines. On my Android using OpenVPN Client, the four ovpn files are imported and the entries from vpnbook.conf ...

Eric: Hi. Every time this happens, in my tray network icon I see "Internet access" OK for my PC adapter (note this is a dongle on Thinkpads) and "no internet access" on the viscosity adapter. Sure enough, as soon as I disconnect Viscosity, the PC gets internet access just fine. I...

We also get this a lot on our two Thinkpads running Win10 Pro x64 with the latest Viscosity beta. When rebooting, sometimes Viscosity will start fine and turn green (we use the Leopard Colored Menu Icons) -- but really no internet connection. Looking at the adapters we see that our ISP connection is...

Eric:

Thanks very much for addressing this issue -- here and in your code!

When I reboot, is it necessary/wise to first disconnect all active connections in V? Other versions of OVPN like SecurePoint stated this.

Looking at this forum, it seems others running Windows 8.1 might be having similar problems as I had with OpenVPN GUI version 2.3.6 and privatetunnel version 2.4 which also uses OVPN-2.3.6 (same authors). I had tried securepoint.sf.net and did not have this problem, but a simple test in their `.../b...

Hi. We just started using licensed Viscosity on our Thinkpads running Windows 8.1.1 x64 Pro. I checked Advanced -> Network -> Use single ..., stopped and exited V, then uninstalled under DM extra taps not usually used. When I clicked on the desktop icon to restart V I noticed I did not have Run As A...
