Port number out of range

Viscosity Noobie here, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
The sequence of events:
Private Tunnel VPN with installed OpenVPN client operating well for several weeks.
Installed Viscosity and imported connection downloaded from Private Tunnel.
The connection worked well and was stable. I did notice in Viscosity Preferences>Edit Connection>Authentication the SSL/TLS fields were all populated.
Decided to uninstall OpenVPN from Private Tunnel. During uninstallation Viscosity disconnected and would not reconnect after uninstallation of OpenVPN.
Rebooted and attempted to connect with Viscostiy without success. I noticed the SSL/TLS fields were all empty.
Uninstalled Viscosity and rebooted.
Reinstalled OpenVPN and was able to connect with it.
Reinstalled Viscosity, imported connection as before and can't connect. I noticed the SSL/TLS fields were all empty.
Uninstalled Viscosity and OpenVPN, Deleted all associated files & folders of both OpenVPN and Viscosity and rebooted.
Reinstalled Viscosity, imported connection as before and can't connect. I noticed the SSL/TLS fields were all empty.
Viewed log file and found this error: "Options error: remote: port number associated with host 1194 is out of range." I am fairly sure this is the same port number as the original installation that worked.
Any help, suggestions, constructive criticism sought and appreciated.

Hi ManOfPeace,
Are you able to provide us with a copy of your raw configuration file? That is, the configuration you are trying to import. This might reveal the issues you are having. You may wish to email this to us if you want to keep it off the web.

I have emailed the files as suggested.
Attached in the email were the only configuration files I know of.
"as.conf" came from the OpenVPN Technologies folder;
"client.ovpn" came from the PrivateTunnel website.
At this time and after much scrubbing of computer files and registry, I do have PrivateTunnel working. Viscosity 1.3.4 is installed but does not work. Importing the "client.opvn" file results in what appears to be a corrupted configuration of Viscosity. For example, the text for the certs (and what appears to be everything else in the file) is found in the Edit Connection>Advanced tab under "Extra OpenVPN configuration commands..."
Edit: I have succeeded in getting the certs fields populated by manually pointing to the "client.opvn" file for each. But it still doesn't work. The log file shows Viscosity confirming a connection and trying to start the VPN, then the log just stops and Viscosity changes from "Connecting" to "Disconnected."

As per our email to you, please update to the latest version as Viscosity. There was a bug in the previous version that may have been causing this issue.
