Hi guys,

firstly, I'm loving your client! :) Secondly, I am stuck with a problem; whether it is a real problem or just my lack of network skills...

My set-up:
[*]2 network adapters: 1x LAN, 1x WLAN
[*]LAN: 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
[*]latest Viscosity client (1.6.6. (1461)

My plan
If possible, I'd like to use the WLAN adapter for VPN only, i.e. "binding" specific apps to a VPN/that WLAN adapter. I found an app called "ForceBindIP" (https://r1ch.net/projects/forcebindip). Would you know how I'd have to set-up my WLAN adapter and/or the VPN connection established by Viscosity in order to force specific applications to use this particular adapter/VPN, while the rest is using the "normal" connection?

If there are any other/better ways to accomplish this, please, I'm all ears!

Best

Eric

Hi hurtz,

As far as complexity goes, application routing is about as hard as it gets. I'm afraid this isn't something we can assist you with as the rabbit hole goes very deep, and our limited experience with ForceBindIP shows it's a bit outdated and a bit hit and miss, but it may serve your purpose.

Application routing is something we are exploring for a future release though, we're hoping to implement it in the future.

Regards,
Eric

Hi Eric,

thanks for your timely feedback! Really appreciate it. Then I'm gonna be looking forward to that feature being implemented... when it's gonna be implemented. :)

All the best to you guys...
