Viscosity keeps trying to connect when VPN server is down
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
I use PIA as my VPN provider and imported all their servers (ovpn) to Viscosity. Usually I use a specific server to connect. This server sometimes goes down, maybe once a month or so. When that happens, Viscosity keeps trying to re-connect indefinitely, thus effectively taking the machine offline.
A better solution would be to have a setting of round robin a set of serversand should any of them fail to connect, terminate reconnect attempt entirely. Maybe a big red popup reading "You are not connected to VPN" will help also.

Hi xbohdpukc,
If you would like a connection to not reconnect if the server drops, edit the connection and go to Advanced, then on a new line add the following command:
remap-usr1 SIGTERM
Regards,
Eric
