This is terrible! I thought I was connected to my VPN all day, when in actuality I was disconnected the whole time! The Viscosity icon is displayed as green(connected). NOT GOOD! Why is this happening?

Hi sleepless,

Is there another connection you have connected? It may be in a folder so not easy to spot. If you right click on the system tray icon, it will tell you how many active connections you have.

No, if I click on the icon, it displays "0 active connections". It seems to happen after waking the PC. The green "connected" icon continues to be displayed even though no re-connection has been made.

HI sleepless,

Am I correct in saying you are running Windows 7? Is this constantly reproducible by putting your PC to sleep and waking it up again, or does it only happen sometimes?

Eric

Hi sleepless,

The latest beta has a change in it which will hopefully help relieve this issue. I'm afraid we've been unable to reproduce this but it might be a case of Windows not allowing applications the time they usually are to do what they need to do pre-sleep.

Please try updating to the latest beta by going to Preferences -> General, ticking Include Beta updates then clicking Check Now.

If this problem is resolves please let us know. If the problem is not resolved or is still sometimes happening, could you please give us an idea of your PC setup, version of Windows, CPU and RAM would be a big help for us to try and see what is going on.

Regards,
Eric
