Hi,

Upgraded to 1.6 1415 and it inputs 127.0.0.1 dns servers connection name
It causes remote resources connectivity issues and errors on browsing anywhere.
Also localhost dns server is being automatically restored on restart.

Will this be fixed?
Workaround is to choose obtain dns name automatically in properties of connection and do NOT restart a vpn connection

Thanks,
robat

Hi robat,

Do you use multiple VPN connections or just the one? Does this VPN connection route all traffic over the VPN? Are the localhost servers being retained after you disconnect?

The following link explains what is going on - https://www.sparklabs.com/blog/upcoming ... osity-1-6/

If you do not wish to use Split DNS, Edit your connection, go to the Networking tab and change the DNS Mode to Full or Disabled.

Regards,
Eric

Just one connection
Yes, all traffic over VPN
Yes localhost server being retained after disconnect

So I choose Connection preferences/Networking/DNS mode - Disabled
And everything is fine.
Thanks, just needed a small change in connection settings
