Open VPN Extremely SLOW with Versions 1.5.9 and 1.5.10

Viscosity was working fine up until version 1.5.8. The newest versions--1.5.9 and 1.5.10--both are extremely slow with my VPN provider. I only get a max of 2Mb/s when doing a speedtest with the new versions vs. 10Mb/s with 1.5.8. I have verified it is not my provider by setting up a PPTP VPN connection using Windows and immediately get the 10Mb/s download speed.
What changed in the newest versions of Viscosity that is causing this extreme slowdown?? It is so slow that I cannot use it any longer. Can you please point me to a location where I can download 1.5.8 again?
