So I have been trying to get VPN to work to my server, but for the life of me just can't :/

I tried the normal openvpn software from openvpn.net and couldn't get that working, so I tried a trial of this, and it seems like a great piece of software, but I don't think it is working.

Why do I think that, well because google maps still thinks I am the US, my IP when I go to what is my IP is still showing my actual IP address. Maybe I am just a huge noob and this is normal, but I feel like it shouldn't be... I don't know how to test if it is working, but I don't think it really is. This is my log:

Hi goldfoxgt,

DHCP setup is failing. Viscosity should be recovering, but it might be worth defaulting OpenVPN to netsh to hopefully prevent any problems. To do this, edit your connect and to go the Advanced tab. On a new line, add the following command:

ip-win32 netsh

Then save your connection and reconnect.

Google maps is not a reliable way to check if your location has changed. The easiest way to check is by your IP address. Go to google.com and search "whats my ip", and then see if your IP address changes once you connect.

Regards,
Eric
