details windows doesn't show the correct network speed
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
Hi,
the details windows doesn't show the correct network speed, plz see the attached screenshot. You see utorrent downloading with more than 4 mb/s, but the details window only shows 700 kb/s. The 4mb/s value is true, the torrents finish fast. My Webbrowser and torguard-ip-check tell me i got an ipredator ip. The option "Send all traffic over VPN connection" in viscosity is checked. I am afraid now there are any holes?
thx

Hi dodo123,
How do the network speeds look if you compare them to the Windows Device Manager or Resource Monitor? Is the same traffic being shown on your Ethernet adapter as your Viscosity VPN Adapter?
Regards,
Eric

Hi Eric,
i think i solved the problem. I had a hyper-v network adapter, which i uninstalled and i deactivated ipv6 in my standard network adapter (in viscosity it was already deactivated). Since then utorrent traffic seems to be correctly displayed in the dialog window. I think this hyper-v thing was the problem.
