Hello.

I've been trying out Viscosity for a while and I'm rather pleased with it so far. Just one, tiny thing though, I'm using the Transparent World menu bar icon set, and there's no icon for the highlighted state! I've made one real quick to show you what I'm talking about:

I haven't checked the other icon sets, but I hope you'll implement the highlight in those that need it as it looks much better. Sorry if I'm being too much of a perfectionist.

Hi mitup,

Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated. And being a perfectionist is fine by us!

I'll see what I can do to get it updated. The menu icon packs in their current form don't support a different image for when the menu item is selected/highlighted, however it shouldn't be too much effort to change this (and it shouldn't affect backwards compatibility), so it's probably something we can include in a version update soon.

Cheers,
James

Ahem, any update on this now that you've shipped for Mountain Lion? :) Congratulations by the way, works wonderfully.

Hi mitup,

Well we are in the process of re-doing the menu icon packs for retina graphics support, so we'll most likely include the change at the same time. Although there are a whole pile of additional states we wish to add (warnings, alerts, different connection stages, exiting, and so forth) so it's also possible we may hold off any state changes until then. We'll see how we get on. :)

Cheers,
James
