I had a problem with my OS X DNS's. Whenever I change location, the resolve.conf gets updated. I've already updated the DNS for both my work location and Automatic. It seems to me though that whenever these change, or even if the enable DNS support is checked, the DNS isn't flushed.

I'm in China, and China changes the resolve name for the DNS, and although I use OpenDNS as my DNS, for some reason OS X has a problem of not using the proper DNS... not until I flush the cache anyway:
Code: Select all
dscacheutil -flushcache
I suggest that Viscosity would flush the DNS whenever it connects or disconnects from a VPN. =)

Hi dukz,

That is certainly a valid request - I'll add it to the "to do" list for Viscosity 1.1.

Cheers,
