Using TAP;

I'm connecting successfully to the OpenVPN server & receiving a DHCP address on the LAN However, I cannot ping or connect to any of the hosts on the far end network from Viscosity clients.

I can successfully connect and ping hosts of from windows clients, not Viscosity.

netstat -r below 10.248.38.128/25 being the far end OpenVPN server network. Help!

ew-host:~ chaka$ netstat -r

Hi WilliamH9,

What does the command "ifconfig tap0" return as output for you? Do you just a single IP address, or have you been assigned two?
I can successfully connect and ping hosts of from windows clients, not Viscosity.
Would you be able to send us a copy of an example Windows config file, and the config file Viscosity is using? You can find a copy of the copy Viscosity is using at:
Your Home Directory->Library->Application Support->Viscosity->OpenVPN->#->config.conf

A copy of your OpenVPN log from Viscosity would also be helpful. You can find this in the Details window (click the 3rd button).

For privacy reasons you're best sending the above to [email protected], however you're welcome to post it here as well.

Regards,
James
