Hi

First of all, great product, I just purchased it :)

I have a problem where after disconnect from VPN, I need to ifconfig en7 down & up (or pfsense is dropping my SSH connections after 30 secs) this ONLY happens after disconnect from VPN, so I need to solve this.

I have enabled the "Reset network interfaces on disconnect" but it does not seem to work. I even restarted the client and disconnected + connected + disconnected, same issue.

Can you help me here?

Version: 1.7.1 (1402)

Thank you :)

Hi vooze,

The Reset network interfaces on disconnect option instructs macOS to bring all registered network services down and back up again (i.e. it's a bit like if you went in the Network area of System Preferences and Disabled and Enabled each network service there). This causes IP addresses and routes to be reset to their default state.

However it's not quite the same as doing an ifconfig down/up from the Terminal, and if your BSD network adapter isn't linked to a registered network service it won't be touched at all. If you need differing behaviour you'll need to turn to using a Disconnect script to run the desired command/s. For more information please see:
