Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
If I try to open an SSH connection without browsing to an address over the VPN, the SSH attempt will timeout and fail.
If I open a HTTP address in the browser that requires the VPN, SSH connections will begin to work.
This worked fine on the version prior to 1.7 (1.6.8) I believe.
I've updated 1.7.1b2 to see if it resolves the issue but it does not. Is this issue associated with the full-dns issue hopefully being fixed after thursday?
Thanks!

Hi zyph077,
Viscosity 1.7 updates OpenVPN to version 2.4, which is a significant change. It sounds likely you'll need to update/adjust your configuration for 2.4. Checking the OpenVPN log is a good place to start:
http://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/art ... envpn-log/
Typically issues like this are related to differing compression settings on the client and server, differing cipher settings, or differing packet size or MTU settings.
Cheers,
James
