Menu bar icon in the wrong place & can't be moved (1.7b8)
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
This is on MacOS 10.10.5 (Yosemite). After updating to 1.7b8 (from 1.6something), the Viscosity menu bar icon doesn'T show up in the usual place any more (which was next to the finder icon), but somewhere among other apps in a random place (based on when it started) left of the standard icons. Cmd + click to move won't work either, so the icon is hidden by app menus most of the time now.
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,
The "Display menu icon on right side of menu bar" option has been removed from Viscosity 1.7.
It relied on private APIs for Apple's use only, and so was quite hack-ish. With an offical API for moving the position of the icon in macOS 10.12, and reports of problems with the option under older versions of macOS (particularly when combined with menu bar icon manager apps), we have decided to remove the option as of version 1.7.
Cheers,
James
