Hi,

I am using Viscosity 1.6.7b4 on macOS Sierra 10.12.1 Beta and when I startup the system and arrive at the Desktop I see the loading of StartupItems/LoginItems, so far so good.

When Viscosity is loading and its menu icon appears in the right top corner next to the already loaded menu icons, all menu icons shifts/jumps horizontally a couple of times.

As said, the shifting only happens as Viscosity's menu icon appears. If I delete Viscosity from Login items it doesn't occur.

It started doing this after upgrading to macOS Sierra.

Hi locus,

Make sure you report the issue to Apple. Viscosity is creating a stock-standard menu item (NSStatusItem), and menu item behaviour and placement is controlled entirely by macOS. You can do so using the Feedback Assistant application that's included with beta versions of macOS.

I am having the same issue on macOS Sierra and 10.6.7.

Has anyone figured out a fix for this yet?
