Trouble connecting since config. update

HI,
I hope someone can help me.
Since the update to the config files and subsequent port change, I cannot connect anymore with my router firewall on the high setting as I could with the old config.
Now, the only way I can connect is by lowering the router firewall to low setting (no ports restricted).
Is there a work around for this?
