I'm using viscosity (just updated to 1.62). Problem is (and has been for months) every time I shut down my computer or quit viscosity, when I open it again i have to re-enter my license key. Is there a way to avoid this? Some preference that I need to check to retain my credentials? It's annoying...
Hi rfenstermacher,
It sounds likely there may be a permissions issue on your machine affecting Viscosity's preferences file. I'd recommend running through the following:
1. Run a Repair Permissions using the Disk Utility application if you running OS X 10.10 or earlier.
https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT201560
2. Completely uninstall and reinstall Viscosity using the instructions at:
http://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/art ... osity-mac/
3. If you are using, or were originally given, a bundled copy of Viscosity by your VPN Provider it's possible they may have mis-bundled it with invalid registration data. To avoid this when reinstalling Viscosity make sure you're using the version from our website:

4. If you are using any preferences or settings syncing software it may be removing your registration settings. Try temporarily disabling any such software or options and see if the problem persists.
Cheers,
James
