Hi hyper, Support has been added to the latest beta, however there is no GUI for it at this stage. The latest beta version can be downloaded here . If you're happy to edit the config file directly it's quite easy to add a "Before Connect" script: 1. Find the config file Viscosity has gener...

Hi lilrkt, Simply create a route for the address your DynDNS updater uses to discover your IP address so it doesn't travel through the VPN connection. That way the updater will still get your real IP address, and send this along to DynDNS. Assuming the server the updater is using for detection is ex...

Try this: 1. Restart your computer 2. Visit www.whatismyip.com and record the IP address it lists 3. Connect your VPN connection 4. Go to www.whatismyip.com again and make a note of the IP address If both of the addresses are the same, then your computer is not using the VPN connection. If the secon...

Hi Merlin, I'd recommend you get in touch with the Chrome developers on this one - looking at the Chromium mailing lists problems with VPN connections seem to be quite common. At a guess I'd say it might have something to do with Chrome's DNS pre-fetching. You could try turning on Viscosity's "...

Hi vanort, Glad to hear it's now working. If it does it again please let us know and we'll get to work troubleshooting. There is a known issue with using Static Keys rather than going the SSL/TLS Client approach (which is strongly recommend over using static keys). In these instances the connection ...

An interface of tun2 should be fine - however the fact it's not tun0 could indicate that other connections may be stuck in the background. I'd recommend restarting your computer, and then connecting your VPN connection again and see if you have the same problem.

Hi dtiertant, There are no known issues that could cause Viscosity to crash during launch. If something is going wrong an error should be visible in the Console. Details for viewing the Console and checking for errors can be found at: http://www.thesparklabs.com/support/viewing_the_console_log/ Chee...
